Key Accounts: Immuno Assay Technology (2416)

Due to very rapid growth, a leader in the immuno assay space is expanding their sales force in Boston/Cambridge. If you are looking to join an organization that is turning heads, then look no further.

Duties and Responsibilities
This is a highly strategic and technical role, and this person must be able to clearly articulate the technology and speak at a peer level with high-level Life Science Researchers. This representative will provide research solutions by selling a super charged immuno assay, and Boston/Cambridge is a hot bed for key accounts. The accounts are not easy to access, so this person will have be a creative thinker, a self starter, a professionally persistent sales person, and a diligent marketer. Prospecting skills are a must for this person, and they must be able to pound the pavement and hunt for opportunities. The company doesn't have a marketing department, so it is essential the sales people flood the market to get the word out there. Because of the density of accounts within Boston/Cambridge area, the overnight travel is minimal. With that said, this person must be very entrepreneurial and able to make this territory their own.
Candidate Background
- An advanced degree is strongly preferred (MS or PhD)
- 5+ years of successful Life Science Research sales experience
- Exceptional prospecting skills and lead generation experience
- Account knowledge in the Boston/Cambridge Area
- Must have specific experience with Immuno Assay technology (sales preferred)
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to close
